The Hard Bits

I was reading my Dad's blog yesterday and he was asking the question, what would Jesus do and do we really reflect Jesus in our every day lives. I am also reading Luke at the moment and the other day I was reading Luke 6, when Jesus tells us it is easy to love those who love us, it is far harder to love your enemies or love someone who has wronged you, but that is exactly what Jesus asks us to do.
It got me to thinking, who are my enemies, who do I have a problem with and how is that reflected in my life?
I have written here loads about prayer, but usually the first things I start to talk to God about, are my family, in fact, I don't like to get all organised and listy ( if that is a word) but I do have some things in order when I pray, and my family and friends usually get talked about first, it is like loving those who love me first, it also like praying for the healthy, when there are so many sick.
I should be starting the other way round, for those who I have a problem with, for those who are in dire need, for those who are walking around with burdens. I think that is what Jesus would do.
Today I am going to really pray for Virgin media, who have still not delivered my wireless router, for the local high school, that let my son down so badly and for the young people on a Friday night that have shown no respect to the YC.
I'm making lists again, but I think I'm starting at the right end anyway.
