dog collars

As a child I remember my father wearing his dog collar, I thought it was great, like a uniform, I also remember a vicar who I used to drink with, used to walk into the pub and say hello to everyone, whether he knew them or not, he used to get some funny looks, until he took off his coat, to reveal his dog collar, and then everyone was alright with him. It is ok if someone you don't know wants to have a chat with you, if he is wearing a dog collar.
I want to stand out more myself, for who I am. I have thought about t-shirts, but sometimes they come across as cheesy or people don't get it or their response to a t-shirt is not the same as it is to a dog collar.
I remember my brother a couple of years ago, went out in Ibiza dressed up as a vicar. I don't know how people took him, but I just want something on me that is a bit more visible. I know my actions should speak loudest, but standing in a supermarket queue or in the pub, I just want something that makes me stand out, while being relevant and recognisable. Just a thought.
